Young Physicists
The International Young Physicists' Tournament is a prestigious competition in Physics which contains practical research tasks and experiments. Each team has its own repporteur, opponent and referee - they judge and challenge each other's works. Since 2009, leader of the Bulgarian has been chief assistant Assen Kyuldjiev.
Bulgaria has participated in the very first two IYPhT editions in 1988 and 1989 in Moscow and has won both of them. And because of the dynamic political situations in the next few years Bulgaria hasn't participated - until 2000. The Bulgarian naional teams have won bronze medals in 2004, 2005 and 2013 and a silver one in 2015.
